"A Quiet Place: Day One"
is a prequel to the sci-fi/horror films "A Quiet Place" and "A Quiet Place Part II," introducing new main characters Samira 'Sam' (Lupita Nyong'o) and Eric (Joseph Quinn). It's the third installment in the series, serving as both a spin-off and prequel.
The story follows Sam, a terminally ill woman living in a New York City hospice during an alien invasion where the creatures hunt using sound. After witnessing the invasion's onset during an outing to Manhattan, Sam finds herself amidst survivors who must remain silent to avoid the creatures.
She forms an alliance with Eric, an English law student, as they navigate the chaos, encounter deadly situations, and eventually find moments of solace together before facing the creatures head-on.
The reviews are great so far and the CGI is fantastic! Now showing in cinemas across Kenya.
