The Kenya International Chamber Music Festival, now in its third season, unites musicians from around the world to collaborate and perform throughout Kenya. This Saturday, June 22, 2024, the Kenyan All-Stars will showcase the versatility of The Strings Family at Eugenia Recreational Park off Thika Highway.
Led by American cellist Robert Howard and Canadian violist Chris Sandvoss, KICF participants will perform pieces ranging from Handel and Beethoven to modern composers like Stravinsky and Philip Glass. The program includes a Coldplay selection, a Stevie Wonder classic, and traditional East African favorites.
