Barak Jacuzzi and Silverstone Bars have joined forces for their highly anticipated joint album, 'Venus & Mars,' kicking off their rollout with the release of 'Balenciaga' a chilly and engrossing lead single. The Nu RnB delight is layered on lush melodies and intricate rhythms complemented by the soulful harmonies of Kenyan RnB sensation, Karun.
The song, produced by fast rising producer Cap and accompanied by a visually stunning video directed by Steve Mugo, sets the stage for an immersive musical journey. In the video, Barak and Silverstone portray a couple on the brink of a life-changing event, capturing the essence of the track's narrative—a calm moment before a storm that will alter their fates forever.
'V&M' promises to blend the best of Kenyan Hip-Hop current sounds with evolving Nu RnB melodies, featuring collaborations with heavyweights like Khaligraph Jones and Timmy Blanco, as well as alternative acts such as Karun and Swahili Papi. The project, produced by Cap & Clue and co-executive produced by AfricaCentric Entertainment (ACE) is based on a fictional love story following the rosy and hard times of a couple on the run from a robbery gone wrong, creating the perfect ride or die album.
