Mines of Passion (Minas De Pasion) is a Televisa production from 2023, starring Livia Brito, Osvaldo De Leon and Anette Michel. The show is an adaptation of Telemundo's 2013 hit drama, La Patrona, which starred Aracely Arambula and Jorge Luis Pila. Mines of Passion follows the story of Emilia Sánchez, a single mother who works in a mine to support her son. This where she meets Leonardo Santamaría, the son of Roberta Castro. Roberta is the most powerful woman in town and is not happy with her son's new relationship. When Emilia and Leonardo fall in love, this unleashes Roberta's rage. Upon learning that Emilia has discovered her mismanagement of the mine's administration, Roberta will try her best to make Emilia's life miserable and keep her from her son. Will Emilia and Leonardo be able to overcome Roberta's scheming to be together? The supporting cast is made up of Alejandro Camacho and Cynthia Klitbo and Cesar Evora.
