Man Meets Bot in "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya"

Indian star Shahid Kapoor's latest Hindi film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has surpassed $10 million in worldwide gross within its first week as of February 19, 2024, making it one of the top-grossing Bollywood movies of early 2024.The movie features Kriti Sanon as a robot with artificial intelligence named SIFRA, designed to think and feel. Kapoor plays Aaryan, a robotics engineer who unintentionally falls in love with SIFRA and struggles to overcome his feelings upon discovering her non-human nature. Dimple Kapadia, known for her role in "Tenet," portrays Aaryan's aunt and boss. Although the theme of humans developing feelings for robots is relatively uncommon in Indian cinema, it is not entirely new and we've seen Sci-Fi romcoms before but this one is a one of a kind Bollywood production with pretty good reviews.
