Q: We all know that the entertainment industry can be brutal. With your outgoing personality, how do you manage to brush off the haters and maintain that rock-solid confidence? A: I do not know if the existence of haters or that word is true or just an illusion. As to staying confident I am big on prayers and words of affirmation. Q: Spill the tea! What's the craziest thing you've ever had to do on live TV? A: Haha, sorry to disappoint, but I'm pretty tame on set. You know the limits of mainstream media, nothing gets offhand. Can't think of anything too crazy that has ever gone down. Q: You're a queen of both TV hosting and acting, but if you had to choose just one, which would it be? A: Easy, TV hosting all the way! I feel most alive and in my element when I'm hosting. Q: We love a good underdog story! What movie do you think deserves more love and attention than it got when it first came out? A: Honestly, I'm all about animated movies these days. I feel like they always have an audience. Q: What's your take on the current state of support for upcoming artists in Kenya? A: We need to do more and push more. We have different gigs and callouts for upcoming artists to showcase their talents. However, we can truly offer more support. We always complain about Nigerian artists getting gigs in Kenya with their one-hit songs and then we have a big event just for them. Why not stretch the same to our Kenyan artists? Q: You are a supermom, balancing your career in entertainment with supporting your 11-year-old son's award-winning acting career. How do you do it all? A: I always say I am a mum before anything else, once I have my main job covered then the rest falls in place. Coz there is no way I can be able to do what I do and be good at it if things aren't right at home or with my boy. Q: You are seasoned in the entertainment industry, but what challenges have you faced along the way? A: As I grow older things that faze me don't faze me anymore. I am now a more solution-oriented individual so things that challenged me in the past, now I just find my way around them. Q: You have a huge platform to inspire and influence others as an entertainment TV presenter. What message do you hope to convey to your audience? A: Never let your dreams take the back seat. It might take time for everything to come to fruition but prayers and patience is
