Spanish shows on Netflix are absolutely insane! The things that happen in them are so extreme, that I sometimes wonder if young people abroad actually have such easy access to drugs and guns. Are gangs really that ruthless? If so, I'm beyond grateful to have been born in Kenya.

Wrong Side of the Tracks (Entrevías) follows Tirso Abantos, a tough ex-military grandpa determined to protect his granddaughter from the crime-infested streets of his neighborhood, Entrevías.

The show has been running for a while, and when Season 4 dropped, I was first in line. I devoured the first half but had to take a breather—every episode gets crazier, but in a good way. The sheer chaos, crime, and tragedy crammed into one city is almost unbelievable!

Yet, despite all the madness, I keep coming back. The show has raw, real-life messages that hit hard, and the actors completely embody their roles. It's so immersive that when something tragic happens, you feel it deep within.

I'll be jumping back in soon now that I've recovered from the emotional rollercoaster. But one thing I need to see? Santi, Tirso's son, finally stepping up, fixing his mess, and stopping with the constant whining. Seriously, man up!
