There's something about the fresh crisp morning air that makes every breath easier and every step lighter—the perfect time for a quick run before the hot sun takes over the sky. But for those who thrive on a challenge and love to go the distance, the Kijabe Ultra is more than just a run. It's a test of endurance, a journey through nature, and a chance to connect with a like-minded community in one of Kenya's most breathtaking landscapes.

On Saturday, March 15, 2025, Kijabe Ultra, brought to you by Ultra Runners Kenya, Urban Swaras, and Kijabe Forest Trust, welcomes runners of all levels to tackle the rugged terrain of Kijabe Forest, with distances ranging from 10 km to 80 km. The course features winding terrains, steep climbs, and technical descents, all fully supported with hydration stations and marked routes all through.

The race will begin from Escarp Gardens in Kimende. Dedicated water stations will be available for the 30 km and 50 km distances, but all runners are encouraged to bring reusable bottles, as single-use plastics are discouraged.

Beyond the challenge, the Kijabe Ultra also supports conservation efforts. Donations to the Kijabe Forest Trust are encouraged to help protect and preserve this vital ecosystem.
Registration is completely free and can be done using the link HERE. Just tag along and enjoy the road, the trails, and the adventure ahead.
