Telenovela actress, Ana Brenda Contreras is expecting a child with husband, Zacarías Melhem.  The couple got engaged in 2023 and eventually tied the knot in 2024.

The actress shared the good news this past week, after having lost a baby last year. She shared that she was quite hurt at the time because people were insensitive to her situation.

"There is a unique pain that comes from preparing a place in your life and heart for a baby that never arrives. It doesn't matter how many weeks, it doesn't matter that you never held them; your experience and pain are valid. Although these stories are more common than we think, they are rarely discussed, and that's okay. I want to share it because it happened, it was real, and because I felt alone even though I know I'm not."  She also emphasized the need to empathize with women and not ask when they will have a baby or if they want to have children, as these questions can be very painful without knowing what's behind them.

With the joy of welcoming her first Child, Ana Brenda shared photos of her growing baby bump, with a lovely message for her baby who will be named Aria.

"This wonderful and hard journey of making a life and reinventing yourself, where you are more vulnerable but stronger than ever… there are two of us who are preparing to be born. A vessel of life, bittersweet… vulnerable but stronger than ever… it's the two of us together preparing to be born. Grateful. The best is yet to come. Aria, my little ball of love."
