Did you think yoga was just for people with older bones and backaches? Well, Karuna Nilayam, in collaboration with Beetroot Productions, has created yoga classes for kids between ages 5 and 12—yes, kids!
The classes take place every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Karuna Niliyam Yoga Studio on the 3rd floor of Universal Towers, Mogotio Road. Drop-in sessions are just KSH.650, and for anyone interested in more sessions, you can pay in groups of 8 sessions for KSH.4,000.
Although their bones are still pretty fresh, Yoga is still very beneficial to kids in a variety of ways. It helps them become more flexible, improves their posture, and teaches them to be calmer and hence less agitated. It also helps them learn to be more focused in whatever they do.
