What if the answer to "What's love got to do with it?" is everything? At Engage Kenya, love is one of the threads that ties stories together. On February 15th, Braeburn Theatre, Gitanga Road will host a special 10th-anniversary edition that dives into love in all its powerful forms—from romantic love to platonic and self-love and familial love to the kind of love that sparks social change.
For the past decade, Engage has been more than just a stage for storytelling; it's been a space where the raw, real stories of Kenyans are shared, celebrated, and deeply felt. Each year, people from all walks of life take the stage to share their experiences, and in return, they create lifetime bonds. Whether it's the love we give, the love we seek, or the love that transforms us, Engage has proven time and time again that stories have the power to connect and heal.
This year's theme, "What's Love Got to Do With It?", asks a question that everyone can relate to. The event promises to explore love's role in shaping who we are and how we interact with the world around us. Expect to be moved, inspired, and maybe even see love through a new lens.
