KOT Flabbergasted By An 'Ugali' Making Machine
A viral video made rounds on the interwebs Thursday afternoon of an ugali making machine which cooks on its own, without use of wooden spoons (mwikos).Kenyans on Twitter had a lot to say about the 'ugalitronic' machine as some expressed sentiments that "making ugali is an art and a mwiko is the brush". It neither clear as to where the video surfaced from nor the source of 'invention'.Ati an invention on how to cook ugali bila Mwiko! First and foremost we don't need any more inventions when it comes to Ugali..! Secondly cooking ugali is an art! And the Mwiko is the brush! Tinder to Update its Safety Features
Tinder is adding new safety features to cater for seemingly unsafe dates. The location-based dating service app will add a panic button to remotely alert nearby authorities in case of emergencies. The ability to check-in and tell friends where the daters are will also be added onto the new safety package. A photo verification system which will place a blue check mark on daters' profiles will be included at a later date to curb catfishing on the app. "You should run a dating business as if you are a mom. I think a lot about safety, especially on our platforms, and what we can do to curtail bad behavior", says Match.com group boss (Tinder's parent company) Mandy Ginsberg.Tinder will give you a verified blue check mark if you pass its catfishing test https://t.co/YP7f9tActq pic.twitter.com/8E0DBNEiYM
