Netflix Hits Back at Mo'Nique's Discrimination Claims
Netflix is retaliating against Mo'nique's discrimination law suit terming it as "nonsensical". The comedian sued the streaming giant back in November, claiming that their $500,000 stand-up offer was less compared to that of "bigger" stars like Ellen DeGeneres. Netflix now says Mo'Nique failed to explain why she deserved the same pay, "And Plaintiff fails to explain why she was entitled to be offered what the stars to whom she compares herself were offered for creating such comedy specials." It will indeed be exciting to see who will emerge the winner in this brawl.Oscar-winning actress and comedian Monique is suing Netflix for alleged discrimination. She claims she was only offered a half million dollars for her stand-up special while Amy Schumer received 11-million dollars for hers.
