The Carnivore Simba Saloon played host to the wonderful one of a kind Dawa Music Festival. This was a unique event in Kenya, with the aim being to recognize the Dawa cocktail available in Kenya and other countries. Being the 40th anniversary celebration of the savory cocktail since its introduction in Kenya. The organizers Baraka Israeli and Tamarind group ensured the event was smooth sailing all through.
Here is a list of some of the memorable moments of the night.
The Venue
The Iconic Simba Saloon was well set up and there was plenty of space for people to move around. The ambience felt cool and chilled . The lighting was just perfect for the night.
The Dawa cocktail
The amazing drink was in plenty if not overflowing and there was no one time we ran out of drinks.
Free Spirited people

Everyone either seemed to be laughing with friends, downing a drink, dancing or capturing the moments on social media. No fights erupted either and I guess it was because of the mature crowd the event being 25+.
The VIP Treatment
The VIP guests who arrived a little bit earlier than the rest were treated to unlimited drinks and food till 10.30 in the night. This was accompanied with food that included fish with chips and bitings that included chicken and popcorns, as a foodie I was a happy soul.
Well Organized
The organizers put up one heck of a show and they did not let us down. From the verification of tickets to the setup of the stage and the response from the attendees, it was evident the night was a success.
Champagne Showers
When the bubbly popped and people got showered with it, we knew the night was just starting.
The Music

Our very own DJ Coco Em kicked off the event with some African house mix fused with EDM. She was electrifying. DJ Maayan Bergman the scratching Hip-Hop maestro of Israel did it for me, I was hooked. Next in the lineup was Gloria Ansell one of the top female DJ's in the world with her amazing sounds.  All the DJ's got us on the dancefloor busting moves that showed we'd make amazing choreographers.
It was truly a night to remember and an awesome way to say adios to the month of June.
