Veteran Telenovela fans recognize Venezuelan actress Scarlet Ortiz as one of the biggest stars on Kenyan TV. Some of her most iconic shows include My Three Sisters, All About Camila, Secret of Love and Rafaela. Her most recent offering was an antagonist character in Telemundo's La Fan. However, the actress recently revealed that she taken a venture away from showbiz.
In a previous livestream on Instagram, Scarlet Ortiz revealed that she has been working at a network marketing company since March. She explained that it was a decision she had to make following the COVID-19 pandemic. The entertainment industry was hard hit and hence the actress had to make the difficult decision to find another source of income.
"From one day to the next, our lives change and we had to reinvent ourselves, accept challenges, lose the fear of doing something different, and lose the fear of learning. Quarantine pushed me to accept that something had to change in my life. I gave myself the opportunity to learn, I continue to learn, I wanted to work for myself and my family…," commented the actress about her new job.
