Streaming giant Showmax has just unveiled its latest lineup of Kenyan original shows. Among these is the new romcom series "Big Girl Small World," which boasts an all-female writing team and is directed by Nick Mutuma, known for his work on "You Again" and "Sincerely Daisy."
Additionally, audiences can anticipate comedy the dramedy "Untying Kantai," by Abel Mutua and directed by Philip Karanja, the creative duo behind the award-winning productions "Sue na Jonnie," "A Grand Little Lie," and "Click Click Bang."
Adding to the excitement is "Nilichoma," marking Showmax's inaugural Original docuseries in Kenya. This series delves into the stories of well-known Kenyan figures who came into sudden wealth only to lose it all.
Viewers can catch the latest episodes of the hit Kenyan drama "Single Kiasi S3" every Tuesday until May 27. Notably, "Single Kiasi" was one of Showmax's top 10 most-watched shows in 2023 and has received multiple nominations at the prestigious Kalasha Awards 2024, including Best TV Drama, Best Lead Actress for Faith Kibathi, Best Supporting Actor for Michael Munyoki, and Best Viewers' Choice (TV Drama).
