From raunchy and suggestive lyrics to twerking on the gram and everywhere else, Megan Pete, best known as professionally as Megan Thee Stallion (pronounced "Megan The Stallion), is an American rapper, singer and songwriter.
She adopted her professional name because she was during her adolescence she was often referred to as a stallion due to her height and beauty. She stands at 5'10".
Meg thee Stallion is clearly a subject worth discussing. She has been making waves in the music industry especially this year.
'Handle me, who gon handle me? He said he a player, he a member of the team.'
These lyrics from her summer time hit, ' Hot Girl Summer', introduce you to the hot girl herself, if you have never heard any of her songs.  She is loud and unapologetic and she has been giving women and men in the music industry a run for their money. With Billboard topping songs like 'Big Ole Freak', she is clearly coming for that top spot.

The Queen of Strong knees was introduced to music by her late mother Holly Thomas who rapped under the name Holly-Wood and would bring her daughter into the studio with her instead of putting her in a day-care. From there, they moved to Pearland, Texas when Megan was 14 and she lived there until she was 18.
She started writing raps at 16. Although her mother was impressed she believed her lyrics were too suggestive for her age and even asked her to wait until she was 21 before branching out. But once Megan got to rapping she didn't stop and we are grateful.
In 2013, while still a student at Praire View A&M University, she went viral after a clip of her battling male opponents in a 'cypher'  hit the internet. She has been gaining more fans through her posts on Instagram, serving us fire twerking and more fire freestyles.
In 2016, she released her first mix-tape Rich Ratchet and her first single  'Like A Stallion'.  The next year, she released her EP, Make it Hot  and one of the songs 'Last week in H Tx' had more than 4 million views on YouTube. In June 2018, she released her 10- song EP Tina Snow, which was named after another one of her alter egos, which she considers more raw. Tina Snow is influenced by Pimp C's alias Tony Snow. Both have similarities in terms of the unapologetic and sexually dominant delivery, and that in-your-face dominance.
We are more familiar with Hot Girl Meg, her other sizzling alter ego.
During interviews, she does not shy from talking about her sexuality nor does she feel caged by the 'intelligent' or 'freak' dichotomy.

In 2019, she released 'Big Ole Freak' from her Tina Snow EP, which helped her nab an entry number in the Billboard 100.  She also released her full length mix-tape Fever on May 17 2019, which received generally positive views.
In June 2019, she was announced as one of the eleven artists to be included in the XXL Freshman Class. Her cypher was highly praised and she went on to collabo with Chance the Rapper on his debut album, The Big Day.
She brought in the hot girl summer craze, encouraging women to enjoy their summer doing whatever they want to do. She also had a comedy collabo with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, closing hot girl summer and bringing in hot girl fall.
