Nairobi Professionals & Residents Group (NPRG) is hosting a march on May 16, 2024, to demand accountability, better urban planning, and public involvement in development decisions. They're protesting corruption at City Hall, unplanned development, lack of infrastructure, and evictions in Mukuru and Mathare.

The consequences include limited services, loss of green spaces, and risks during extreme weather like El Niño. NPRG aims to highlight these issues for a more just and livable city. The march starts at 9 am from Jevanjee Gardens, going to City Hall via Uhuru Highway. It features speeches, resident testimonials, and a list of demands. Police will be present for safety.
