The couple dated for a year around 2010 but had a nasty break up. They however, sorted things out and ended up working together in shows like Hasta el fin del mundo and Sueno de amor. It was after they wrapped up filming Sueno de amor in 2016 that they announced that they were back together. A few months later, they shared news of Marjorie's pregnancy and even got engaged. Unfortunately, three months after the birth of their son, the couple broke up. They went to court for a custody battle that has been going on ever since.
Just recently, Marjorie De Sousa filed a lawsuit to take away Julian Gil's parental authority over their son, claiming that he had abandoned him. Julian Gil came out strongly to deny the accusation and instead sites that the actress has made it difficult for him to see his son.
