Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia and Carlo Aquino to Star in "It's Okay not to be Okay" Filipino Remake Star Creatives unveiled Filipino stars Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, and Carlo Aquino as the lead cast for the remake of hit South Korean drama, It's Okay Not To Be Okay. The original show drama starred Korean A-list actors; Kim Soo-hyun, Seo Yea-ji, Oh Jung-se, and Park Gyu-young. The Filipino adaptation will mark Anne's return to the small screen project in 10 years, following Mars Ravelos' Dyesebel. She shared that she immediately accepted the role because she personally loved the original drama. "I couldn't let it pass. The moment I watched the series in 2021, I called my manager in Viva and asked her if I'll do a series again, I think I would like to do It's Okay to Not Be Okay…" Joshua revealed that he would learn more about psychiatric nurses to prepare for his character, both physically and mentally while Carlo is looking forward to challenging his acting skills with his character. Anne will play Emilia "Mia" Hernandez, Joshua will be Patrick "PatPat" Gonzales and Carlo will star as Matthew "MatMat" Gonzales. As per its creative producer Henry King Quitain, the hit K-drama series will focus on the Filipino aspect, hoping to showcase the beautiful scenes of Negros Province in Iloilo City. The drama is set to premiere on Netflix.
