For the art lover with a passion for conservation, ArtFest, an annual art event that celebrates artistic ventures that promote awareness of biodiversity and conversation, is the place to be on 6th-7th April 2019, at The Hub, Karen. Over a hundred artists are expected to exhibit their creations across various media including, visual arts, fashion, photography, crafts, photography, literature, digital arts and performing arts. In addition, ArtFest will honour artists who demonstrate creative excellence and promoting awareness in biodiversity and conservation through art. This year's theme is connecting creatives with the community. "As we continue to support the local arts scene with the annual ArtFest several artists will be on hand displaying their original works and performing live. There will be all kinds of art represented. We are super happy the community supports local art. It's a great way for local artists of different skill levels to showcase their work and It's great that it gives community members a chance to not only support local artists but to be involved in the art scene that has really grown over the years in Kenya," says Duncan Gwaro of 24:7 Group, the team behind ArtFest. Advance tickets are on sale for Ksh. 500. Tickets at the gate cost Ksh. 1,000. Buy tickets for ArtFest here.
