Weekend Plan: "CATS" The Musical, in Nairobi Featuring Gareth Stamp

"CATS" is a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on T. S. Eliot's 1939 poetry collection "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats." It's one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history. CATS is making its debut in Kenya from June 7th-June 9th 2024 at Brookhouse International School Karen campus theatre.
This groundbreaking production will feature live music by the Dance Centre Kenya (DCK) Orchestra, conducted by Levi Wataka.
One of the most outstanding Jellicle cats in this production is Asparagus 'Gus'. In this Kenyan production, Gus will be played by Gareth Stamp. A versatile creative dedicated to inspiring others.
Gareth has starred in a TV mini-series and is currently adapting works for the stage and writing and illustrating children's books. His upcoming short stories about his time in Central Asia will be published later in 2024.
