Danna García (Norma), Mario Cimarro (Juan), Paola Rey (Jimena), Juan Alfonso Baptista (Oscar) and Natasha Klauss (Sara) will return for the second season, set to begin filming in Columbia. Michel Brown, who played the third Reyes brother however declined to return for his role as Franco.
Hidden Passion was the story of Juan, Óscar and Franco Reyes, three brothers who posed as farm workers to infiltrate the life of the Elizondo family in order to avenge the death of their sister. However, the grudge dissipated over time as they fell in love with the Elizondo sisters.
The second season will be set 20 years later; and the family will be forced to face new challenges that threaten their union as a family. A tragic crime involving the death of a teacher will unleash a series of heartbreaking events that will once again put their love and loyalty to the test. The show will also feature a new generation of actors; Bernardo Flores, Sebastián Osorio and Juan Manuel Restrepo, who will play the charismatic children of Norma and Juan.
