Si Nos Dejan (If They Let Us) is a 2021 production by W Studios for Televisa. The telenovela stars Mayrin Villanueva, Marcus Ornellas, Scarlet Gruber and Alexis Ayala.
If They Let Us follows the story of Alicia. She is married to award-winning journalist and television star, Sergio Carranza. She is a dedicated wife and hands-on mother to their three children, Julieta, Gonzalo and Miranda. Alicia therefore believes that she has the perfect marriage and family. This however turns out to be a terrible lie after she discovers her husband's affair with his co-worker, Yuridia. Alicia is forced to make the difficult decision to end her marriage and rebuild her life.
Alicia meets Martin Guerra, a younger man who is also a journalist. He is divorced and raising a daughter, Sofia. Martin ends up being the new love in Alicia's life and she will be faced with a new challenge of being with a younger man when society dictates otherwise. How will Alicia and Martin deal with judgement and disapproval from those around them in order to be happy together?
