Now that we're on Coronavirus lockdown in Nairobi, many kids are missing out on their extra-curricular activities and probably not moving around as much as they should. If your children love dancing or have always wanted to try,  Dance Centre Kenya have come up with an ingenious way to keep the kids moving: Online dance lessons.

Kenya's premier dance school virtual workshops are open to anyone, not just their regular dance students.  So you can sign up all your kiddos. Yay!

If this dance thing is a fish out of water experience for you and your kids, don't be nervous. Dancing is great! There are lots of reasons to get children interested in dance. Not only does learning dance enhance a child's confidence, focus, physical strength,  agility, and grace; it also exposes them to great art and music in a way that other physical activities don't. All the more reason to sign up!

Dance Centre workshops include Ballet, musical theatre and also arts & craft. The workshops will be taught through Zoom and you can join in from anywhere if you have access to the internet. They got started this past Monday but are still open to anyone willing to join in on the fun. Never too late. Charges are Ksh750 per lesson and start promptly at 10:00 am and running through to noon. The workshops are catered to kids ages 4-10 years.

To register, please send an email to info@dancecentre.co.ke. Once you've registered and paid, They'll send you info on what you will need for the sessions and you'll get the Zoom password and link.

Get your child(ren)'s dancing shoes (or bare feet) ready and let them dance away!
