Church Girls Gone Rogue in "Faithless"

In 2023, Kenyan content is thriving with a plethora of new shows hitting the airwaves every day. Among them, "Faithless", a Showmax production stands out as a captivating series that delves into the aftermath of a failed heist.

The storyline intricately follows the journey of four church members who unwittingly become entangled in a world of crime and violence. What initially starts as an innocent women's guild, known as a chama, takes a dark turn when it becomes a money laundering operation orchestrated by a ruthless crime lord.

The plot takes an intriguing twist when Esther, a struggling waitress, stumbles upon the stolen loot and makes a shocking discovery: her own brother, Benja, was involved in the heist.

As Esther tries to navigate this dangerous situation, she finds herself relentlessly pursued by Cain, a vengeful criminal who suffered significant losses during the botched robbery. Cain's pursuit injects a sense of urgency into the narrative, compelling Esther and her church friends, Ruth, Hope, and Deborah, to confront a moral dilemma. Will they utilize the ill-gotten gains for good or succumb to the temptations that come with a substantial sum of money?
