Netflix's "The Queen's Gambit" has been a huge hit, becoming the top-rated show on the platform practically everywhere. In the series, Anya Taylor-Joy plays Elizabeth Harmon, the charismatic orphan genius who storms the male-dominated world of competitive chess.
According to University of Memphis research, playing chess significantly improves children's visual memory, attention span, and spatial-reasoning ability.
Chess is definitely the game which will raise your kid's IQ and it's not a surprise. A study showed that 4000 Venezuelan students both boys and girls showed increased IQ scores after 4 months of chess instruction.
