Filmmakers form teams to create 4 to 7-minute masterpieces within a tight 48-hour window. Assigned specific genres, characters, props, and dialogue, participants weave captivating narratives that transcend conventional storytelling.
After the whirlwind production, the films will debut on September 21st 2023, inviting public viewing and voting. The event culminates in awards across 15 categories, including the prestigious "Best Film Nairobi 2023" prize.
The victor advances to the international stage, representing Nairobi at Filmapalooza, and potentially achieving the ultimate dream: a slot at Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner. Open to all film enthusiasts, the event beckons those ready to embrace a whirlwind of creativity and join a global community of passionate storytellers.
