On Friday, July 19, 2024, Expertise France is launching the "Basketball Experience Program" in Kenya. This initiative aims to use basketball as a tool for education and raising awareness among young people through programs that blend sports with life skills education centered on sustainable development.
The "Basketball Experience Program" is part of the "Sport and Development" partnership established in June 2018 between the French Development Agency (AFD) and the NBA.
The primary goal is to promote BasketBall within the targeted cities, encouraging young people to engage in regular physical activity. This program offers a unique opportunity for young Kenyans aspiring to join the NBA, providing them with a platform to develop their basketball skills while learning essential life skills.
