The past week has been a particularly difficult one for Kenyans. The Riverside attack at Dusit Hotel was truly horrific. The most encouraging thing in this whole saga is that Kenyans stood as one and helped where needed. I rounded up three hashtags that defended Kenya's honour and even got some sort of  justice for Eliud Kipchoge.
#SomeoneTellNYTimes
The New York Times published gory pictures of bodies from the Riverside attack while the terror act was ongoing. It ended up being a big debacle when the paper was called out for their insensitivity but Kenyans pressed hard, determined to have the honour of Kenyans defended against the goliath publication. Here are some of the tweets.

#EliudKipchoge The award-winning and talented athlete Eliud Kipchoge was recently nominated for the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year. The poster which has nominees of the likes of Lebron James and Kylian Mbappe initially had Eliud photographed having some nasal discharge and Kenyans were displeased. The complaints reached the committee who ended up changing the photo to a better one.
