Foodies, we've got some tantalizing news! Here's a delicious weekend plan to indulge in: The Swahili Food Festival organized by Let's Cook Kenyan Meals
There's something both comforting and alluring about Swahili food. Its perfect balance of spices teamed up with fresh, simple ingredients provides a burst of flavour that conjures images of the palm-fringed coast of East Africa and the spices that have been grown and traded here for centuries.

Swahili food is a medley of Bantu, Persian, Indian and Arabian cuisine. From savoury dishes like Pilau, Biriyani, Mbaazi  to sweet treats like Matobosho and Achari, Swahili meals are divine!
Treat yourself to a delectable weekend of sampling swahili cuisine from the vendors  at the Swahili Food Festival this Saturday 7th March at Freedom Heights Mall in Langata from 10:00am-6:00pm.
There'll be entertainment by Taarb singers and you might get a glimpse of some of your fave swahili thespians from Mombasa.
Entry is free!
