Ramiro and Ana Laura finally get to have a happy ending after numerous challenges that saw them end their relationship multiple times.
At first, Ramiro was engaged to Gina but he broke things off with her to start a relationship with Ana Laura. Ana Laura had always liked him but never had enough confidence to approach him because of her injured leg. When Ramiro made the first move, it was hard for Ana Laura to believe that he genuinely loved her and that his affection for her was not born out of sympathy.
When Ana Laura eventually gave in and accepted Ramiro, Ana Leticia did everything possible to pull them apart. She made Ana Laura believe that Ramiro was cheating on her and was only after their family's wealth. There was also Valentine, Gina's ex-husband who tried to separate them in an effort to take revenge on Ramiro for taking Gina away from him.
In the end though, these challenges could not stop love from thriving. After the death of Valentine and Ana Leticia's escape, Ramiro and Ana Laura happily got married with their family and friends in attendance.
