A cuddly little teddy bear, with buckets of optimism will be melting hearts this August. Winnie the Pooh, everyone's favourite honey-loving bear will star in Disney's upcoming adventure comedy movie, Christopher Robin.
Years since they lost touch, Pooh magically appears in London to come to the rescue of his childhood BFF Christopher Robin, played by the perfectly cast Ewan McGregor, who is now stuck in an unimaginative, uninspired middle-aged rut.
Together they go on a nostalgic caper through the colourful land of Hundred Acre Wood where they both shared great adventures and memories in the past. Along the way, adult Christopher tries to reconnect with his imagination, and his buddy Pooh is more than willing to help him remember all the good times - of course, with plenty of profound, life-affirming tidbits to boot.
They are joined in their journey by Pooh's band of delightful friends; Tigger the fearless tiger, Eeyore the melancholic donkey, Piglet the shy piggy and Kanga the kind-hearted kangaroo.
This will be the latest live-action adaptation of a Disney classic after Cinderella (2015), The Jungle Book (2016) and Beauty and the Beast (2017).
Christopher Robin will be released in Kenyan cinemas August 3, 2018.
