Last week, KenyaBuzz got a chance to sample the menu which is served at the hotel's top-most rotating restaurant, The View. Guests have the option of choosing between potato leeks soup with crispy bacon or zucchini tart on salad bouquet. I ordered the former. The soup was buttery and sweet and the rosemary leaves that garnished it gave the soup a nice kick. It needed a little chilli, but this will depend on the preferences of your palette.

For the main course, I had the roast beef in onion gravy served with a side of French fries. The meat is cooked to perfection, the crispy onions in the gravy really complimented the meal.

For dessert, I had the option of having a fruit salad or a chocolate pear mousse. The mousse is exquisite. The slight bitterness of the chocolate, the white chocolate and the strawberry on top and the crumble base make for a great melt in your mouth experience.

Lunch is served at the View on the 24th floor of Mövenpick Hotel.
