The actress who starred in Mientras Haya Vida and Silvana Sin Lana, was once married to fellow actor, Luis Ernesto Franco. They got divorced in 2018 after three years of marriage. She also dated Argentine actor, Horacio Pancheri for three years, but they broke up in 2021. When asked about Marimar's marriage in a previous interview, the actor said he was happy for her and maintained that they were still friends.

Marimar Vega met Jerónimo Rodríguez while filming the comedy series The Game of the keys. Five months into dating, the couple announced they were engaged. Her sister, Zuria Vega shared some photos from the wedding also attended by Adriana Louvier, Macarena Achaga and Marcela Guirado.
