Maite Perroni and husband, Andres Tovar, are getting ready to welcome their baby. The actress first shared the news of her pregnancy on January 6th. During an interview with the Mexican magazine CARAS, she confirmed that they were expecting a baby girl. She also shared details of how she found out about her pregnancy.

She was in the middle of her wedding preparations in Barcelona and began to feel different. A friend encouraged her to take a pregnancy test and she found out that she was two weeks pregnant! "I couldn't believe it. I felt such an overwhelming emotion. It was September 8th when I found out, and October 9th was my wedding day. It is incredible how life works, the gifts of God and the universe, because everything fits together, and suddenly it was already the perfect combo."

She also gushed about her husband, saying "He is an extremely protective man, very loving, very empathetic, always thinking about how to give, resolve things and be... He is going to be a great dad, and I have all the confidence and peace of mind that he will be an excellent guide."
This past weekend the couple hosted a baby shower, with multiple friends and family members in attendance. Even while starting a family, Maite Perroni is still promoting her new Netflix series, Triada, and is set to go on tour with her band Rebelde (RBD) later this year.
