Rebecca's luck has finally ran out and her only way out is faking an Amnesia. The beginning of her downfall was when she tried to poison her own mother by spiking her drinks with tranquilizer. Elena ended up hospitalized and Rebecca fell out of favor with the only person who loved her.

Rebecca was therefore furious when things started going well for her sister, Angelli, and Jose Emilio after they got back together. When she was found out that they were expecting a baby, she wanted to destroy their happiness. She decided to kidnap Angelli to make her lose her baby.

When Angelli went missing, Jose Emilio and all their friends searched endlessly for her. They all suspected Rebecca as the culprit but she denied it. Jose Emilio was eventually able to find Angelli unharmed but Rebecca had to escape from the police. She fell off the bike she was riding and seriously injured her head.  When she woke up, she figured that the only way she can escape her crimes is by pretending that she did not remember them. She claimed that she was Frida Del Omo and had never committed any crime but no one believed her.

Angelli could not accuse Rebecca because she had been threatened. Instead, she found evidence that confirmed Rebecca's involvement in Alma's death. Rebecca was arrested while still confined in the hospital. Will she be able to get away with her amnesia story?
