Fashion High Tea is arguably the most fashionable Kenyan event. It celebrates Haute Couture and happens every February at the Zen Garden. It's definitely the most high profile of the lot, in terms of style, exclusivity and personalities.
Tribal Chic, a glam and charitable high fashion event, has become a fixture in East Africa's fashion calendar. Kenya's most notable designers to have graced its runway include Adèle Dejak, Katungulu Mwendwa and KikoRomeo. It is hosted every January at the posh Tribe Hotel.
The Kenya Fashion Awards celebrates contributions of designers, fashion photographers, models, fashion stylists, make-up artists, hair stylists and creatives to the fashion scene. Each year in October, the event concludes with a lavish runway and award ceremony.

Nairobi Fashion Market is an annual celebration of Kenya's growing fashion and lifestyle industry. This event is so nice that it comes around twice a year - a Spring edition in March and Fall edition in October/November. Running over two days, it showcases authentic designers, arts and crafts, African handmade products, gifts, and fashion accessories, presented in a modern and innovative festival setting.
Nairobi Fashion Week is a premiere fashion event in Kenya created as a platform for brands and creative entrepreneurs keen on showcasing, selling and exploiting opportunities in the ever dynamic and growing African fashion and beauty market. Four seasons of world class standard exhibitions and pop-ups have given the Nairobi Fashion Week an excellent reputation and track record.
