KenyaBuzz: You have released some of Kenya's biggest club bangers, from Dundaing, Tiptoe remix, to Umeniwahi, what's the secret?
Kristoff: Having fun. If I am in the studio having fun, then everybody is going to fun because that is the energy that is going into the song.
Every time I go into the studio, I make sure I entertain because I'm an entertainer.
KenyaBuzz: You are one of the most collaborated artists in Kenya. Is that a strategy for your career or do the collaborations just come by chance?
Kristoff: When almost everybody wants to work with you, it means you are doing something or you're something. That means your sounds makes an impact in any song and artists want to align themselves with someone who can make a song memorable.
KenyaBuzz: Who is your dream collaboration?
Kristoff: Chris Brown
KenyaBuzz: Tell me about your new song Rainbow. Does it come from a personal place?
Kristoff: Rainbow is a fun love song. It's not a complicated song, it's straight forward, danceable, and anyone can enjoy it. Is it coming from a personal place? Yes, it is. You cannot sing a love song without knowing what love is.
KenyaBuzz: What should your fans expect from Mluhya wa Busia this year?
Kristoff: More music, more hits and I plan to release an album next year in March around my birthday.
