Mexican actor, Jorge Salinas is facing a cheating scandal after controversial photos of him and another woman were leaked online. The actor is married to La Herencia star, Elizabeth Alvarez. The couple met on the set of Fuego en la Sangre in 2008 and later got married in 2011. They also have twins together. Jorge Salinas was therefore criticized heavily for cheating on his wife.
It was at the beginning of the year that an alleged infidelity of Salinas to his wife came to light. Images were released where the actor was seen kissing his nutritionist, Déborah Portillo. The actor however denied the allegations while his nutritionist reiterated that they only had a professional relationship.
"What I have is pure love for my family, respect for my wife and love for Elizabeth. I repeat again, I do not have any extramarital relationship nor have I ever had one, thank you very much. The conversation I had with the doctor has been solely and exclusively professional...", said the actor.
He was recently interviewed by journalists about the issue after claims that he is currently separated from his wife. He also called out the media for continuing to bring up the controversy, which he is trying to move away from.
"I am a person who deeply loves his wife, deeply loves his family and who regrets all this media issue is on everyone's lips. I ask you to please stop this media issue, it will not amount to anything."
