Two lifelong friends, Jonathan Mbaya and Simba Tsumba, originally from Zimbabwe, have travelled the world and spent time living in multiple countries including the US, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Ethiopia. They host a podcast Tings & Things  where their conversations transcend borders and strip away all the filters from the perfectly edited and curated lives they have become accustomed to online.
As a duo, they have real conversations that touch upon what it means to live and learn as young, globalized Africans. A great Pan African platform that's a breath of fresh air from all the diaspora wars we witness online.
Through their travel, adventures & misadventures, the duo realized their struggles as young adults were not unique to them and that their stories would resonate with other young Africans. Tings and Things shares experiences not being discussed by traditional media outlets. Alongside their  back and forth banter and undeniable chemistry, Jonathan & Simba have found the perfect formula to exhibit the everyday stories of life in a fun, unconventional way.
Now almost in its second year (turning 2 on January 23rd), Tings & Things has over 100 episodes available  on all digital streaming platforms. Listen out for the witty celebrity interviews. So far, they've hosted Mina Reeve, Benoit "Shappaman" Kanema, Rui Yamashita, Mannywellz, Brian Msafiri, Leila Field, Stefani Roma, Faiza Hersi, Karun, Stephanie Matu, Mawingo, Alisha Garufi, and Wana Muthama.
They welcome episode suggestions too. If you have an interesting topic you'd like them to address in the podcast, email jono.mbaya@gmial.com /simbatsumba21@gmail.com and they'll consider it.
