Boomplay debuted its inaugural music festival, BoomFest, in Africa on April 6, 2024, held in Kenya at the A.S.K Dome in Nairobi. The event marked a significant milestone for the Kenyan music industry, as it brought together various stakeholders and music enthusiasts for a night of celebration and unity.
BoomFest 2024 showcased the rich diversity of Kenyan music through performances by over 13 local artists, including Khaligraph Jones, Willy Paul, Boutross, Femi One, Fathermoh, Wakadinali, Vijana Barubaru, Bahati, Arrow Bwoy, Ssaru, Buruklyn Boyz, and Nameless. Each artist brought their unique style and artistry to the stage, captivating the audience and reinforcing the vibrancy of Kenya's music scene.

The festival also featured surprise performances by Teslah, Ndovu Kuu, and Lil Maina, adding an element of excitement and spontaneity to the night.
