Telenovela stars, Gabriel Soto and Irina Baeva have broken up! The actors met in 2016 while working together on Vino El Amor. At the time, Soto was married to actress Geraldine Bazan but they soon got divorced. He later made his relationship with the Russian born actress official in 2021. The couple then got engaged and had already set a date for their wedding but they ended up postponing it.

The breakup news was released by Gabriel Soto via his official Instagram account, where he shared a statement from both of them. "Through this message, with the deepest respect and affection, we want to communicate that after several years of love, support and commitment, we have made the decision to end our relationship. We have taken this decision after several months of reflection, with wisdom and maturity; the reasons will remain within our inner circle. We are grateful in advance for allowing us to navigate this situation with discretion and respect…" wrote the actor.

Rumours about their separation had been circulating in the media after controversial photos of Gabriel Soto's with Cecilia Galiano were released. The actor explained that it was only a ploy to market their ongoing theatre production and they had talked it out with Irina Baeva before releasing the photos.

Irina Baeva and Gabriel Soto have yet to elaborate on the reasons for their separation, which they insisted is on good terms.
