The truth about Carlos and Gabriel's real identity is finally out! Roman found out that Carlos is not his son and instead, Gabriel, whom he mistreated, was his real son. He was upset because Carlos knew about it and did not tell him the truth. Roman thought of abandoning Carlos for his deception but later agreed to let him stay because he still considered him his son.
With Gabriel entering the picture, Carlos grew jealous of him. Roman increasingly grew proud of Gabriel and let him hold a higher position in his company. He also asked Gabriel and his wife, Bianca, to move in with him. Meanwhile, Carlos fell out of favor with Roman and was kicked out for harassing Gabriel and Bianca. He received a settlement in order to leave Roman's house but he went into debt after squandering all the money he had received from Roman.
Carlos got married to Isabel and Roman had to accept him and his wife back because they were accepting a child. Carlos is now using the opportunity to win over Roman by sabotaging Gabriel. Will he ever change his ways and accept Gabriel as his brother or continue his plans to ruin him?
