I'm on Your Side is a Ukrainian series from 2019 starring Dana Abyzova and Dmitriy Ratomskiy.
The story follows the life of Nastya, a 30-year-old acclaimed cardiac surgeon. Nastya does not suspect that the owner of the clinic where she works is a criminal. He uses the hospital to treat and help people, but it is only a guise to run his illegal business that deals in illegal medicines and drugs. Nastya accidentally witnesses a murder committed by his thugs so her boss orders them to kill her.
However, the boss' nephew, Maksym, disobeys the order. To save Nastya's life he proposes to her and they marry. This is how Natstya becomes a member of a big criminal family. She starts living with all of them in their huge mansion that hides a lot of secrets. The hardest role Nastya must now play is to be Maksym's wife. They are complete opposites: Nastya, a saint, while Maksym is a sinner. Nevertheless, Nastya can see Maksym's true self through the shell of indifference and cruelty that covers him. Every dangerous situation will bring them closer and strengthen their bond. Can Nastya awaken Maksym's heart and clear his soul? Will her love be able to change him for good?
