US first lady Melania Trump touched down in Nairobi last night as she continues her solo tour of Africa. She's been on the continent since Monday, and has so far already visited Ghana and Malawi and is set to end her African trip in Egypt. Her African tour will focus on promoting health and education.
We've grown to love the former fashion model for her outstanding and daring looks, and she didn't disappoint this time either. Here, we take a look at the outfits she has put together on her tour so far.

MALAWI

She arrived in Malawi in a beige-toned shirt-dress with slits on the side. She cinched her waist with a brown belt paired with brown high heels. This was a stunning but tricky ensemble to pull off considering the dress was made of a billowing fabric and would easily be blown by the wind, risking a wardrobe malfunction. Luckily, this was not the case since she kept one hand close to her leg as she made the steps from the plane.

GHANA

Her second stop was in Ghana where she was received by traditional dancers. This time round Melania looked stunning in a Celine custom dress from the French fashion house. The price tag on it? A whopping £1,541 (Ksh 200,000) paired with white Manolo Blahnik heels costing £481 (Ksh 60,000). The red and white striped dress with a pussy bow blouse-style neck was nothing but exquisite.

KENYA

In Nairobi, the American first lady was received by her Kenyan counterpart Margaret Kenyatta as they plan to discuss how to merge their similar campaigns; Melania's "Be Best" initiative and Margaret's "Beyond Zero" campaign. The former model warmed our hearts in a white floral printed Erdem shirt dress. This is the second time she wore this dress pairing it with a yellow snakeskin belt. The Kasia Paisley Parrot print cotton shirtdress was originally priced at £965 (Ksh 130,000) on matchesfashion.com, but was on sale for just £341 (Ksh 45,000) at the time of Melania first wearing it.

We have seen some of the current runway trends on Melania from a shirt dress, a stripped dress and a floral print dress and we can't wait to see what she'll wear in Egypt. One major thing to note here is the simplicity of them all. These are dresses that are comfortable and simple to pull out. The only accessories she incorporated was a belt. Trendy, simple and classy.
