Ancient Egypt meets present day UK in the fun, family-friendly movie Mummies where a popular chariot racer-Thut (Joe Thomas) who is forced to retire prematurely due to unfortunate circumstances, teams up with his brother and reluctant love interest Princess Nefer (Eleanor Tomlinson) to search for an old ring belonging to a royal family, stolen by an ambitious archeologist in London.
Along the way, they get derailed by the trappings of life in the modern city as Nefer is lured into pursuing a music career by some bad guys and it's up to Thut to help her get back on track.
