Caroline Slot, of Kenya's premier dance school Dance Centre Kenya (DCK), is hosting a 'Soul Session'. It will take place this mid-term break on Thursday, 17th February from 10am-4pm at Mlango farm in Thingati, Ngecha which is a 1 hour drive from the city.
Caroline will help parents and kids connect through dance, movement and games and help release tension from the past year. Dance and music therapy has been found to greatly improve mental health, Slot tells us.

2.15-3.30 African Drum Workshop with: Rapala Dance Ensemble from Kibera
The African Drum workshop facilitated by seasoned drummers from Kibra. A great family activity to bond over.Founded by Kenyan-Dutch couple Kamande and Els, Mlango is a great place for kids to learn how organic food is produced and what ethical rearing of animals looks like.
Kids will also get a chance to feed the animals, learn about the farm animals' needs and characteristics as well as how Mlango cares for them.
