From Saturday, November 18th through Sunday, November 19th, Nairobi Comic Convention (Naiccon) will return to the Sarit Expo Center where the biggest personalities in African geek and nerddom will convene to showcase and participate in all the greatness Naiccon has offered over the years from cosplay, gaming, comics and film.
KenyaBuzz will be on the ground to check out the festivities and interview some of your favorite movie, comic, and gamer personalities. But whether you'll be at Sarit with us or keeping tabs from home through social media updates, you definitely want to know what the panelists will be discussing this year.
At Nairobi Comic Con E- sports enthusiasts converge to compete for the coolest prizes and get a chance to be inducted into the pro gamers hall of fame.
For years now, Pro Sports Gaming (PSG) and NAICCON have propelled teens to international fame through their esports tournaments and this year, the game jam and LAN party promises to be even bigger!
One of the highlights this year is Naiccon's groundbreaking Pan African e-gaming tournament, offering kids a unique chance to interact with gamers from across the continent. It's a golden opportunity for young enthusiasts to test their skills, make new friends, and forge connections in the vibrant gaming community. More deets in coming days!
But that's not all - Naiccon is pulling out all the stops by bringing in renowned illustrator Danielle Statella straight from Italy! Danielle will facilitate the Art and Illustration masterclass adding an extra layer of international flair to the convention. Imagine the inspiration and creativity that will flow as participants learn from a master of the craft.
Our personal favourite is the cosplay and showcase competition. Kids really showed out and showed off at Kidscon and Naiccon's cosplayers are expected to pull all the stops!
For younger kids, there will be an exclusive Kidscon Zone where they can really let loose! See all the fun they had here in August.
This year's Naiccon will also include music competition and performances. Here's a chance for your aspiring musician to shine!
Naiccon recognizes the growing influence of K-pop in the country and if you're a fan of Korean pop culture, you're in for a treat! There'll have an anime hangout and concert!
Whether your kids are seasoned Naiccon veterans or first-time attendees, this year's edition is shaping up to be a memorable celebration of all things geeky.
