Alina is ever plotting to make things go her way. Her latest mission has been to go after Santiago to make him break up with Raquel after Andres promised to pay her for it.
Being Santiago's lawyer, Alina  is trying to win him over by helping him regain custody of Benjamin who is now with Raquel. Since Benjamin is not Santiago's biological son, it will be hard to get him back legally. Alina therefore threatened Raquel to take her daughter Mia to jail for trying to kill her; Mia had recently tried to poison Alina for stealing Nico from her but she changed her mind.  Alina therefore asked Raquel to give Benjamin back to Santiago lest she send Mia to prison.
Raquel tried to speak to Santiago about getting Alina away from them because she is aware of Alina's intentions. Santiago didn't seem to take it so seriously though and he told Raquel that Alina was his lawyer and he owed a lot to her for always helping his family.
